Move Stuckness into Flow

I guide individuals towards expanded awareness, greater presence, and improved performance. The Alexander Technique is a learning process by which we recognize and “un-do” unconscious or unhelpful psychophysical patterns that interfere with our ability to move, breathe, and respond freely.

So many of us run on automatic, operating under the impression that automating responses makes getting through our days more efficient. Wouldn’t we all like one less thing to think about? Instead, we don’t see how this limits our choices or our ability to be in the present moment. We seek exercises and techniques to address fatigue, stress, or tight muscles with little attention paid to how we arrived in these states to begin with.

The Alexander Technique is a means for changing our responses and reactions by expanding our awareness of habitual patterns - psychophysical patterns - so we can reduce strain and achieve ease in living. Musicians use it to prevent repetitive stress injuries. Actors use it to increase stamina and access sustainability. Singers use it to free their voice. Everyone can use it to expand awareness so they can reduce strain and achieve ease in living.
